Wordful Wedsnesday

I figured Id jump on the bandwagon and try out this wordful wednesday thing.. At 7Clown Circus she started it and have seen it on a few blogs....

Pitures like this make me miss my mom but is a gentle reminder that no matter how much I think (or know) I look like crap, tired whatever its SO important to have pictures taken with your kids! Ken snuck in and took this picture the other night while we were reading the bedtime story and at the time I just rolled my eyes and thought, that picture will never be shown. BUT then I saw it on the camera and I realised how important pictures like these are. My mom hated having her picture taken, we would always get pictures of the back of her head or her hand over her face. I would LOVE to have pictures of me and my mom or even just my mom... there are VERY FEW of them around! I will try to make this a mission to get more pictures like this...

I'm so glad you jumped on the band wagon. Wordful Wednesday has been so much fun, and I've loved seeing all the participating entries. I love how natural and candid this shot is with your children.

What a great point you made. I'm always the one behind the camera, but I do need to start handing that camera to someone else!

Welcome to Wordful Wednesday and sorry I am late getting to your post. This is a great post and so true. I don't like my picture made either and have thought the same thing that my girls would not have pictures of me. So, I am trying to "get over it" and take more pictures. Thanks for the insight!
In addition to WW I have a feature on Tuesday's reviewing children's books and adding language building ideas. Saw you were reading in this pic and thought you might like it.
