Homework! Part 3

Homework from Mama's Losin' It!....

Here are the prompts:

1.) Write about a brief, but scary encounter with one of your old professors or teachers.

2.) If I had the power to change something I would change...

3.) You are 20 years in the future, write a letter to your todays self.

I'm totally drawing a blank for #1, #2 I probably wouldn't be anything worth while so I'll just skip it.... So that leaves me with #3

Katrina, Enjoy the babies being babies, Enjoy the babies wanting to be with or on you all the time, take time to keep a strong relationship with hubby, find things that YOU enjoy besides things with the kids, KEEP the friendships that you make, DON'T be afraid to make new friends, Stop spending so much money on scrapbook supplies, use up what you have! GET FIT! Don't let hubby hold you back from anything you really wanna do. Just try to slow down and enjoy every moment of life that you have, even if its not all that great you will still look back and want to relive them. Journal more about your feelings on your scrapbook pages, not just names and dates and locations, put some feeling in them and get them in albums! Stay young, stay happy and be yourself!

I finally just last year took on something for me. Soccer! I had never played before, and absolutely LOVE it! I just can't get enough. And sometimes my hubby coaches, but mostly, IT'S MINE!!!

You really need to find that THING that can be all yours. There's nothing like it!

I am so with you on the finding something that is yours aside from kids!! It's needed for our sanity!

"find things that YOU enjoy besides things with the kids"

that one hit home for me! Why is it that we KNOW we should, but then really don't or feel guilty if we do???
or is that just me>?

I love this. Good for you!

Thank you for stopping by my blog yesterday and sharing the SITS comment love. I am up for a massage trade any time...of course, we would have to meet half way - you being on one coast and me on the other :)

I'm with you and Solei... I figure I'm a much better mom when I'm feeding my OWN soul with things that have absolutely zip to do with Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers ;).

Oh, and I read your post about the hole in your jeans. Sorry, but I laughed like hell... then I was reminded of the time I walked through a VERY fancy, VERY busy restaurant... dragging a 5 foot piece of toilet paper on my shoe. Lovely. So I totally understand those sorts of 'impressions' :)

Great post...sometimes in our day we get caught up and want that moment to ourselves...when we do have time away from the kids we miss them terribly. I too need to slow down and enjoy the little things, Sun shining, clouds in the sky, birds chirping...and I am starting my journal now after reading your post...I bought one and it has empty pages.

Cute letter! I haven't done any homework for MamaKat. I really should though, I love the idea, just never get around to doing it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and for your kind thoughts about my doggie. I miss him a lot.

I'll be back again to read your blog, looks like I'll really be able to relate!

Thanks again.

Found you via Mr. Linky on Mama's page! I choose to write the letter too! I should have used the find things you enjoy then with the kids thing...humm...I will keep that in mind!

It's so easy to get caught up and forget what really matters in the long run.

I hope you listen to yourself!
